This is our scheduled for our interview in the City Hall HR department. The director is Mrs. Laperacion A. Daplin and she offered us her HRIS personnel Mr. Bobit Nasella.

When we asked their cooperation about our intention of having interview to them well, we don’t any problem. The Directress is very hospitable and nice. She accepted our request and allows us to proceed on our intention.

The interview that is Mr. Nasella is a gentleman and approachable. He is one of the System analysts of the HR department. He graduated at Bohol but didn’t specify where. And we haven’t able to back-up personal questions because his not comfortable to talk about it, so we decided not to ask too much of his profile.

And we proceed to our purpose. Our purpose on conducting the interview is to gather idea bout the application about HRIS aside from theoretical area for having an active sharing in the class. He said that HRIS caters two categories in their office only: the permanent employees (plantilla) and the non-plantilla (not permanent employees it might be co-terminus or temporary). Their HRIS coves the operation of office standard processes like Personal Database records, personnel selection, Hr training, Benefits and administration, performance management and etc. He said that the system should satisfy the needs of the client. This is really their main goal so they have to work hand in hand because in making the system is not advisable that only person makes but it better if it done with others, he said two heads is better than one. The next step is identifying what necessary system should be made. The design of the system is based on the needs of the company. He just said that programming is the last part of the process.

He said that HRIS is very important in the company for it makes thing go easier. It is very useful in the company. Their system is design for the employment in which it is easy for the end-user to access in the ready-made database system in viewing and appending new information or data. He said that their system is not that high technology like in the foreign countries but tried their very best to be updated on latest technology, besides they undergone trainings and seminars for effectiveness of HRIS. MS Sequel is the system they were using and they also avails the free platforms available in the Internet. But they have undergoes researches for the improvement, they have room for improvement.

We have lots of information gathered in the interview and really better we you talked to professionals than just simply read. This strategy of Sir Randy Gamboa is very effective on the learning pattern of the students.

After the interview of course picture taking inside the office with our interviewee and the Directress of the HR department.( Also picture taking in the Rizal Park. Hehehe)

It's such good to think that you have learned a lot from that comapany and had get informations that you cannot get from classroom. I'm glad about that.
